Biography
Author of 2 monographs, author and co-author of over 100 publications in the field on electrical drives, electrical equipment, energy efficiency and safety in transport. From over 30 of them are indexed in Web of Science or Scopus (h-index: 5 / 2026), including in publications with impact factor IF or impact rank SJR (journal articles from Q2 and Q3). Reviewer for editions in IIIE Xplore Digital Library, AIP Publishing, etc.
He is a co-author of 2 textbooks and 8 manuals for exercises.
Supervisor of 3 PhD students who successfully defended their dissertations. Leader and participant in over 30 research projects the project, including to the Scientific Research Fund.
Erasmus Coordinator of the Faculty of Telecommunications and Electrical Equipment in Transport. Guest lecturer at Université d’Artois, France. Contacts with universities and research laboratories from Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, Russia, Greece, Turkey, Slovakia, Poland, Czech Republic, Serbia, Romania, North Macedonia, etc. Lecturer in the Erasmus + program at universities in Italy, Greece, Poland, Turkey, Slovakia.
Lecturer in the following disciplines: Electrical drives, Power electronics, Electrical drives of electric vehicles, Environmental problems of electric mobility (for Bachelor’s degree), Energy-efficient electric drives, Electromagnetic compatibility in industry and transport, Computer simulation modeling and optimization of electrical systems in transport, Systems for monitoring and energy efficient management of electrical equipment, Specialized security systems in transport (for Master’s degree), etc.

- Since 2026 – Functional Dean for International Students of the Todor Kableshkov Higher school of transport;
- Since 2019 – professor in professional field “Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation” (“Electrical Power Supply and Electrical Equipment in Transport”).
- 2014 – 2019 – Associate Professor in Professional field “Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Automation” (“Electrical Drives and Systems for control of electric transport vehicles”).
- 2007 – 2014 – Assistant Professor and Senior Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Power Supply and Electrical Equipment of Transport at Todor Kableshkov Higher school of transport.
