On October 10 and 11, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eng. Yulia Varadinova, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and Eng. Ralitsa Vladimirova, Chief Expert in Educational Services, participated in the international education fair “Study in Europe 2026” in Baku, Azerbaijan.
During the visit, Assoc. Prof. Varadinova met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Azerbaijan, Ruslan Stoyanov; Consul Petar Shterev; the Head of the Consular Section, Ismegyul Durmush; and representatives of the diplomatic mission. The discussions focused on promoting Bulgarian higher education, attracting international students, and exploring opportunities for developing educational cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan.
Participation in the exhibition is part of the efforts of Todor Kableshkov University of Transport to expand international partnerships and promote Bulgarian transport and engineering education on an international level.
