BIOGRAPHY

Lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the Faculty of Telecommunications and Electrical Equipment in Transport of the Todor Kableshkov University of Transport in the disciplines: “Higher Mathematics” and “Applied Mathematics”. He has also taught: “Quantitative Methods and Statistics” – at the Technical University of Sofia; “Mathematical Analysis 1”, “Mathematical Analysis 2”, “Linear Algebra and Analytical Geometry” and “Financial Mathematics” – at UACEG; “Mathematical Optimization” – at Shumen University “Bishop Konstantin Preslavsky”.

 

Areas of research interests: plane geometry; financial and insurance mathematics; scientific study of differential equations and modeling with them; strategies, approaches and methods for coaching mathematics competitors.

 

He has participated in four national research projects. He is the author and co-author of over 40 publications in Bulgaria and abroad, reports at scientific forums and one monograph.

 

He is a member of: the “European Kangaroo” Association (since 2022 and currently); the “Balkanski-Panitza Institute for Advanced Studies” (BPIAS) Association (since 2022 and currently); the editorial board of the journal “Mathematics Plus” (from 2020 to 2024). He received the “special award” (as scientific supervisor of a mathematics competitor) of the international competition “Methodology and Information Technologies in Education” (MITE) – National Round, Sofia, 2018.
