Students from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport on Internship in Russia

On the basis of the long-standing cooperation between the Moscow State University of Transport and Todor Kableshkov University Transport in the period 13-23.07.2018 a cognitive internship of our students in Moscow was held. The group included 16 people altogether – students from the specialties “Transportation Engineering”, “Power Engineering and Electrical Equipment” and “Technology and Management of Transport” and was led by prof. PhD eng. Valentin Nikolov, Head of the Department of Transport Construction and Equipment and assistant eng. Lubomir Sekulov, from the Department of Department of Electrical Equipment in Railway Transport.

The program included a visit to a number of training laboratories at Moscow State University of Transport, including those on contact networks, railways, transport automation, transport links and communications, transport equipment, dispatching station simulator, etc. The group visited important transport sites in Moscow, such as the Monorail Railroad, the city railways – the Moscow Central Station, the metro and its museum, as well as the metro-wagon exhibition.
Our students were also invited to attend the graduation of their graduates from Moscow State University of Transport.

Within the framework of the cultural program organized by the hosts, the group from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport visited some of Moscow’s biggest attractions, including the Kremlin, the Red Square and the Basil’s Temple Vasilii Blajeni, the Ostankino Tower, the Tretyakov Gallery, the Lenin Mausoleum and the GUM (Main Store), Panorama 360, Sergiev Posad and the Stavropigial male monastery of the Russian Orthodox Church, the Church of Christ the Savior, the monument of Peter the Great, the Museum of Cosmonauts and others.

With this successful visit of our representatives at the Institute, the traditionally good relations between the two universities were strengthened and the students had the opportunity to enrich their practical knowledge in the specialties they study.
