ANOTATION
The master’s plan is designed for graduates having a bachelor’s degree in geology and related subjects from different universities. The geotechnical qualification is a shortcut to thorough realization in construction for many of these young specialists. The specialty is also very appropriate for graduates in civil engineering, hydro-engineering, geodesy, mining or mining – bachelor or master’s degree who want to receive such additional specialization, which by itself has a major realization in the world.
Students get qualification both in civil engineering and engineering – geologists who will then have the opportunity to work in the field of construction with a sufficiently broad profile – engineering geology, geotechnics, and building structures, transport construction. Students are provided with a comprehensive qualification for land surveys and engineering seismology as well as for several types of geotechnical and other building structures.
Graduates of this specialty receive a state diploma for a Master’s degree, which entitles them to continue their studies in the scientific and educational degree of “Doctor” at the universities in Bulgaria and abroad in the field of civil engineering, mining, geology, etc.
Geotechnical and engineering specialists with educational degree of “Geo-technics and Engineering Geology” can work in organizations, businesses, departments, and more with duties in the field of construction, ecology, mining, etc, which is a sufficiently broad profile of understanding of geotechnical engineering, geotechnics, construction, transport construction, etc.
