The Curriculum includes fundamental, general engineering and specializing subjects such as mechanical handling and building machines, logistic systems and technologies, drive systems and automation etc; laboratories, seminars and training practices. The training ends with a State exam. The alumni receive a state diploma of higher education with professional qualification of “Mechanical Engineer”.
By studying certain faculty subjects, covering the required manufacturing practice and after successfully passing all theoretical and practical exams the graduates also obtain certificates of professional qualification as “operator of cranes and workstations”. Those who have graduated the specialty can find jobs in the field of transport, trade, agriculture and education as constructors, engineering designers, technologists, service experts, testers, consultants, lecturers and others or they may continue their study to next lever of the Higher Education – “master degree”.
The program is designed for bachelor graduates in the same professional field. It has duration of three semesters and ends with development of master thesis. The students are trained in modeling and optimization of logistics systems, combined transport techniques, intermodal and cargo terminals, automation of material handling and building machines and etc. Upon graduation students receive a diploma for Master of Science in Engineering and are prepared to pursue a range of careers in the following sectors: transport, industry, construction, mining, agriculture, education, etc or to continue their studies in PhD programme.
