Ninth Scientific Conference „Triennial International Conference Heavy Machinery – HM 2017“

In the period June 28th, 2017 and July 1st, 2017 in Serbia was held the Ninth Scientific Conference „Triennial International Conference Heavy Machinery – HM 2017“ and the „International Symposium for Students – SRMA 2017“, organized by the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering Kraljevo at University of Kraguevac, Serbia. At the conference and symposium were assoc. prof. Dobrinka Atmadjova, PhD, assoc. prof. Emil Yonchev, PhD, assoc. prof. Mira Zafirova, PhD, assoc. prof. Emiliya Dimitrova, PhD, assoc. prof. Vasil Dimitrov, PhD, chief assist. prof. Vasko Nikolov, PhD and PhD students Metodi Atanasov, Emil Mihaylov, Nikolina Porozhanova and Plamen Petkov.

On behalf of Todor Kableshkov University of Transport it was read a greeting letter to the participants of the conference. The representatives of Todor Kableshkov University of Transport and the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering Kraljevo at University of Kraguevac, Serbia signed 15 years ago cooperation contract in the field of European projects implementation and international conferences organization.

The international scientific conference, organized by the Faculty of Mechanical and Civil Engineering Kraljevo is held every three years. The main purpose of the conference is the participants to get familiar with the new achievements in the field of heavy industry, civil engineering and environment. The best conference papers will be published in the international journal “IMK-14 Research and Development in Heavy Machinery”.

The ninth scientific conference Triennial International Conference Heavy Machinery – HM 2017“ was very important for the development of industry and education in the field of heavy machinery as many scientific achievements in this field were presented. There were presented also papers, related to research activities at local, national and international level. There were many participants from Serbia, Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Romania, Croatia, Italy at the conference.

SRMA 2017 is an international symposium for students. In this way students from various colleges and faculties have the opportunity to present their research papers in the field of Bologna requirements. Assoc. prof. Dobrinka Atmadjova, PhD from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport is a member of the Organizing Committee of the Symposium. Two papers of the student Plamen Petkov from specialty “Automation projection in heavy industry” from Todor Kableshkov University of Transport were presented at the symposium.

The organizers of the international symposium for students made a suggestion the next forum in 2018 to be dedicated to research papers of students from the Balkan countries, such as Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Greece.
